Mint Tea

Did you ever realize that there are more than 25 members in the mint family? 1753 the English Carl Linneaus defined the species.
Now they grow everywhere: Moroccan mint, spear mint, apple mint, peppermint … just to name a few of them. Don´t wait too long to harvest and dry them. They make a delicious tea not only for winter times but also very refreshing right now with ice cubes and fresh lemon juice!!
Why? Because it tastes nice and they have health benefits:
It helps to focus, to release muscle tension (great with headaches), interesting as an appetizer as it supports gut and gland function. It improves concentration and has antimicrobial properties.
Isn´t that fun???
